Today, many people are living in fear. As dental professionals we know our patients come to our dental chair with expectations. I like to go the extra mile and try to calm my patients as soon as they arrive. How?

Try putting a little Lavender essential oil on a 2×2 and wave it around your room. Patients will respond with a heavy sigh. A sign of letting go and relaxing.

As a dental hygienist of many years, I have definitively concluded that dental hygiene is hard on the mind, body and spirit. Dentistry is not easy. It can be very challenging on you and your patience. Must stay calm. Calm under pressure. Om!

Dentistry is Like Riding A Bike Except The Bike Is On Fire You’re On Fire Everything Is On Fire!

Unfortunately when patients are stressed we feel their stress and become one with their stress.We can feel their energy; we are merely inches from their face, inside their aura. It can seem overwhelming for patients AND you!

I have had my soul sucked out of me while working with people from all walks of life. That no longer happens and its wonderful! It’s a way to practice where you don’t burn out, instead you thrive!

If it weren’t for dental hygiene I don’t know if I would be different today. I went through some challenging times in my dental career that shaped who I am today. My dental hygiene career created my life today. It wasn’t easy. From basket case to recovering basket case, I have made strides.

From dental hygienist to fellow dental hygienists, I feel your pain. Throughout my journey so far, I have gathered many tools to help me cope in stressful situations and I’d like to share them with you.

This is an online 4 week mindfulness coaching workshop that focuses on 5 particular areas of health:

Week 1

Week 2

Make Health Your Hobby

In this workshop you will gain an understanding of the aging process, grazing vs. gorging, reading and understanding food labels, and learning how to make a delicious, healthy treat your family will love. Week 3

Move Waste from  Your Waist

Your waist size speaks volumes about your health. Did you know that reducing waist size reduces illnesses? In this workshop, you will learn how you can achieve optimal health by learning how to create your own moving plan that will not only reduce waist size but help reduce your blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and more. Week 4

Live Without Pain & Inflammation

Did you know that inflammation can cause poor vision and even a stroke? Learn the causes of inflammation and what creates an IBod. Create menu plans that decrease inflammation and promote energy.
